So, I'm sure you're all familiar with the new shop idea 'Callie's Picks'. For those who aren't, it's basically a store, that features clothes picked by the Stardoll mascot Callie.Stardoll. The problem with that is, that a lot of rare clothes are being rereleased and the original versions are losing their value. Of course there's a good side to it, which is that newer members and also those, who don't own the clothes get a chance to wear them!
I'm kind of torn between actually wanting all those wonderful rare clothes, but not wanting rares to lose their value. A lot of people think it's selfish to say, that they shouldn't release old pieces and that people who are against Callie's Picks just don't want their rares to lose value. That's partly true, but it's not the only reason I'm a little critical. I mostly feel sorry for all the collectors, who put time and money into their collection and then see them being released in the starplaza. Some say it's their fault for spending a sunny load of money on them... But that's what a collector does, right? Also sometimes their prices are just not reasonable and they often remove clothes that already exist or take freebies and sell them for higher prices, which is kind of stupid in my opinion.
As for me, I also saw some of my clothes being put into the shop, but really I don't mind it quite as much. I'm not a collector and sometimes I do spend a lot of stardollars on something, but that's pretty much my business and I choose to do it and the only reason I did was, that I really wanted to have it and couldn't wait for a rerelease
I'm still not sure whether to find that idea good or bad..
